Glampire
was introduced into culture in 1995. The musician, performer, vocalist, guitarist, producer and fashion cultural lexicon also know by the name Glampire coined the term and holds the registered trademark. He has also changed his birth name in part to Glampire.

The Beginning of Terror was the first release by Glampire in 1996 on J-Bird records. The debut CD met with a modest critical acceptance and helped secure Glampire as a strong club act in his home city of New York and beyond. During the summer of 1997 – 1998 Glampire was a regular on the NYC club scene playing to backing tracks and singing live. He dubbed this performance “Scary Oaky”.

The second release Pretty Scary was also on J bird records. Expanding on the glam/goth foundation, two genre’s Glampire helped to combine - prior to him that hyphen did not exist. Glampire started to add in flavors of house music, hard rock and even a tender acoustic ballad called Breakable, which was covered by Psychotica on their album, Espina (Zero Hour).

1999 was the start of Glampire’s own label, Musesick Productions. The Heraldic Universe was released on Halloween of 99’. The single and video My Own God was extremely well received in the press and firmly planted Glampire as fixture in the history of Glam & Goth culture. The video for My Own God spent 8 weeks at number 1 on by NOW TV showing to more than 8 million viewers weekly in Europe, Japan and Australia.

2000 saw the release of The Soft White Ghetto (Musesick), again a cavalcade of positive press followed, along with internet buzz mainstream and indie press and the singles Halloween in July and Night Time, Glampire was now a well known figure in the both the mainstream as well as the niche genres glam and goth rock.

2001 Glampire released Drop Dead Gorgeous. The video and single Somewhere in Space was described as “dark wave on steroids” by AP Magazine. Unfortunately the CD Drop Dead Gorgeous was set for release on Tuesday September 11th 2001. Obviously the tragedy in NYC that day superseded all American’s plans on that day. The CD came out later that year.

Glampire released Heavy Blessings in 2002 to mail order fans only.

Glampire has appeared on various compilations and tribute CD’s.
